Role Overview

Each day you’ll move seamlessly from our production floor to engineering huddles, turning problems into improvements. You’ll refine processes, dial-in tooling, and partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, and Engineering to make safety, quality, delivery, and cost better—continuously.

What your day looks like

  • Walk the line to observe workflows; document and refine manufacturing methods and routings for repeatability.
  • Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and process issues hands-on to keep production running smoothly.
  • Analyze cycle times, throughput, scrap, and rework to find and prioritize the biggest wins.
  • Design and improve jigs, fixtures, and tooling; recommend equipment and process upgrades.
  • Translate drawings/specifications into robust builds; select the right manufacturing processes.
  • Create and maintain work instructions, process specs, BOMs, routings, and ERP records.
  • Industrialize new products and engineering changes so they launch safely, on time, and at rate.
  • Verify process capability and stability; apply root-cause analysis and corrective actions when issues arise.
  • Resolve nonconformances and material discrepancies alongside Quality and Supply Chain.
  • Drive cost-reduction projects; support 5S, Lean, and Six Sigma initiatives across the value stream.
  • Contribute to equipment selection, process development, validation, and production readiness.
  • Develop standards, document best practices, and train operators on new/revised methods.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, customer, and engineering requirements; assess risk and mitigate proactively.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work area; perform other related duties in support of operations.

What you bring

  • Bachelor’s in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering (or similar) preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 2–5 years in manufacturing or process engineering preferred, with strong understanding of production processes.
  • Fluency reading drawings and specs; experienced in process development, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Root-cause and corrective action know-how; familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and 5S.
  • Experience creating/optimizing tooling and fixtures is a plus.
  • Proficiency with CAD (e.g., SolidWorks) and Microsoft Office.
  • Comfort with ERP/MRP, routings, and BOMs.
  • Analytical problem-solver and clear communicator who collaborates well across functions.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing production needs.

Work setting

  • Environment: On the manufacturing floor with industrial equipment, noise, and temperature variation.
  • Physical demands: Active role with frequent standing/walking/bending; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, with flexibility for extended hours/weekends as production requires.
  • Travel: Minimal; primarily training or coordination with other facilities.

  • Paid time off and company holidays
  • Life and disability insurance

Preferred proficiencies
