REPORTS TO: Quality Engineer
Pay Range: $25 - $30 based on education and experience
Hours: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm Full time
We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector with CMM experience to support a Quality Assurance team in a regulated medical device manufacturing environment. This position performs receiving, in-process, final, and First Article inspections while ensuring products meet engineering specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities

Perform dimensional, visual, and functional inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products.

Perform Receiving Inspection, First Article Inspection (FAI), and in-process/final inspections.

Operate inspection equipment including CMM, Optical Comparator, calipers, micrometers, and gauges.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, tolerances, and inspection requirements.

Identify, document, and segregate nonconforming material and support NCR/MRB activities.

Maintain accurate inspection records in accordance with Good Documentation Practices.

Verify calibration status of inspection equipment before use.

Provide technical guidance and training to other QC Inspectors.

Support Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Production with inspection and continuous improvement activities.
Qualifications

High school diploma/GED and 3–5 years of quality inspection experience in an FDA- and ISO-regulated industry.

Medical device or electromechanical manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

Hands-on CMM and Optical Comparator experience required.

Strong understanding of engineering drawings, tolerances, inspection methods, and measurement equipment.

Working knowledge of GMP, GDP, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and ISO 13485.

Quality Inspector certification is a plus.

Strong attention to detail, documentation skills, and ability to work independently.
