Job description
Position : Network Systems Developer / Engineer
Location : San Jose, CA or RTP, NC
Contract 12+ Months
Job Description:
- Experience in networking, systems software, and virtualization.
- Strong knowledge of Linux internals, system boot, systemd, networking, and performance troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience with KVM, QEMU, libvirt, virtual networking, and virtual NICs.
- Solid understanding of networking technologies, including:- Ipv4
- NICS, Linux bridges, bonding, VLAN and routing
- DHCP, DNS, and firewalling
- SR-IOV, PCI passthrough, DPDK, and Open vSwitch (OVS)
- Proficiency in Python and shell scripting.
- Familiarity with REST/RESTCONF APIs, NETCONF/YANG
- Experience managing Linux services, RPM-based distributions and Packaging.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot production issues using logs, core dumps, packet captures, traces
- Deep understanding of Kernel Boot loader/ Boot order (UEFI , intramfs)
- Deep understanding on identifying memory leak, etc
