Job Description
- Support the current on-air operations team during the division s major systems migration.
- Assist with programming quality control, commercial rehearsals, event preparation, shadowing on-air programming, monitoring on-air programming, and break support activities.
- Maintain and manipulate on-air playlists.
- Execute program, commercial, and marketing changes.
- Support live-event and contingency workflows using systems such as SNELL Morpheus and Amagi.
- Take ownership of commercial integration and ensure flawless execution of commercial breaks during taped and live programming.
- Contribute to the monitoring and maintenance of more than 150 channel streams.
- Identify inconsistencies and maintain continuous channel availability.
- Ensure all programming materials are prepared and ready for on-air playout.
- Act as the final checkpoint for internal clients and stations by responding quickly to on-air discrepancies.
- Simulate the viewer experience by continuously monitoring audio, video, captioning, and picture quality.
- Collaborate with Operations Supervisors and team members to quickly recover from on-air issues.
- Communicate promptly and clearly with partner production teams regarding automation playlist changes.
- Perform all other duties to support the success of the Network Operations Center as assigned by manager and follow company rules and policies

Basic Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma and relevant certification or Associate's Degree in Media or Communications, or equivalent professional experience in broadcast, digital, or post production role.
- A solid understanding of television production, broadcast operations, and/or news/sports/entertainment technical production requirements.
Additional Job Requirements:
- Must be willing and available to work any shift including overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of a 24x7/365 operation, with possibility of schedule changes based on business needs and priorities.
- Must be willing and able to view all content including that considered to be mature in nature, repetitive, and potentially controversial.
Desired Characteristics:
- Prior professional experience working in master control or a production control room is highly desirable, but not required.
- The ability to maintain composure and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to adapt to new and changing workflows and software implementations.
- An acute attention to detail and a knack for cross-referencing and identifying inconsistencies, coupled with the ability to anticipate and report potential issues and concerns proactively.
- Ability to multi-task and balance numerous priorities in a deadline-oriented environment.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience working collaboratively with others, who is always respectful and maintains a positive attitude.
- A punctual, hardworking, disciplined, and dependable individual.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluency or proficiency in Spanish is a definite plus.
