Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a fast-casual cafe with a tropical twist. Since opening our first cafe in Tallahassee in 1997, we've been guided by a simple belief: when you eat better, you feel better. We serve made-to-order smoothies with real fruits and veggies, plus toasted wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, and quesadillas, all with a bit of tropical fun.

This location is independently owned and operated by a franchisee of Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

Our Crew Members keep the cafe running smoothly. They work with urgency, bring positive energy, and help create an experience guests come back for. If you're upbeat, reliable, and like working on a team, this is a great place to start and grow.

Pay: $8–$12/hour plus pooled tips

What You'll Do

Guest Experience

• Greet guests with a smile and deliver "Unparalleled Hospitality"

• Take accurate orders, make recommendations, and help every guest feel welcome

• Bring "Tropitude" (energy, friendliness, and fun) to every shift

Food & Smoothie Prep

• Prepare fresh ingredients and build menu items to brand standards

• Make smoothies consistently and accurately

• Follow food safety and sanitation practices at all times

• Keep prep stations stocked, clean, and organized

Cafe Operations

• Run the register and follow cash-handling procedures

• Clean the kitchen, dining area, restrooms, and workstations throughout the day

• Complete opening, shift, and closing duties

• Support your team and jump into any position as needed

What We're Looking For

• A friendly, positive attitude

• Reliability: you show up on time for the shifts you commit to

• Ability to work at a fast pace and stay calm during rushes

• Strong communication and teamwork

• Willingness to learn and take on more responsibility

• Must be 16 or older (confirm your minimum age)

• Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.

• Must be able to get a food handler permit within 30 days of hire (if applicable)

Schedule

• Flexible scheduling that works well for students and part-time workers

• Shifts usually run 4–8 hours

• Some early mornings, evenings, and weekends are required

• We're closed Thanksgiving and Christmas
