Software Marketing and Sales

An educational materials company based in Torrance, California, representing a major Japanese educational brand, is seeking a Marketing and Sales professional to join their team. This role involves promoting and selling educational materials designed for elementary school students, while supporting a variety of marketing and partnership initiatives. The ideal candidate values teamwork, adapts well to shifting priorities, and is comfortable taking on diverse responsibilities beyond a fixed scope of work.

Key responsibilities include:

• Reviewing and refining content for marketing materials, including membership guides, direct mail, website copy, and email communications, with attention to natural wording and grammar
• Conducting competitive research and organizing meetings to expand partnerships with cooperating companies
• Managing affiliate relationships and coordinating with external agencies
• Developing new marketing partnerships
• Carrying out sales and promotional activities targeting schools

Requirements:

• Bilingual proficiency in Japanese (professional level) and English (business level or higher)
• Experience in at least one of the following areas (no minimum years required): web marketing or sales focused on new customer acquisition
• Bachelor's degree or higher, in any field

Preferred qualifications:

• Sales experience with educational materials or similar products
