Material Handler

As a Warehouse Material Handler, you’ll help ensure products get where they need to go. You’ll receive, store, select, pack, and ship warehouse inventory. Our Zone Service Center uses a Warehouse Management System (WMS), so comfort with technology is important.

Location: Pomona, CA
Pay: $22.50 per hour
Schedule: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

What’s a typical day as a Warehouse Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts
• Receive and store incoming materials according to warehouse management system procedures
• Select, pack, and palletize shipments
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload (LTL) shipments
• Conduct cycle counts
• Maintain a clean warehouse
• Follow safety procedures and complete daily safety inspections

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Minimum age of 18
• No fear of heights
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of a warehouse environment, including lifting various loads, cutting wire, climbing ladders, and staying active throughout the workday
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending on location
• Ability to pass pre-employment physical testing
• Good attendance and a strong work ethic
• Two or more years of experience preferred
• Prior experience in a large warehouse using a warehouse management system preferred
