Reliable Power Systems & Electrical Services, a Premier Level Generac Dealer based in Fort Myers, is seeking a driven and customer-focused Residential Power Systems & Electrical Services to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an individual with residential electrical knowledge who enjoys working directly with homeowners, identifying customer needs, providing solutions, and building strong relationships. The successful candidate will evaluate job sites, prepare accurate estimates, and serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process. This is a Monday through Friday position with no on-call responsibilities, offering an excellent work-life balance while providing strong earning potential through commissions.

The Residential Electrical Sales Representative is responsible for meeting with homeowners, assessing electrical needs, preparing accurate proposals, and converting opportunities into sold projects. This position combines technical electrical knowledge with consultative sales skills to deliver outstanding customer service and support company growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with residential customers to evaluate electrical service needs and project requirements.
• Conduct thorough on-site assessments and provide professional recommendations.
• Prepare and present accurate estimates and proposals for electrical services and installations.
• Capture detailed photos and documentation to support project planning and execution.
• Clearly communicate project scope, materials, and job requirements to the operations team.
• Collaborate closely with field management to ensure accurate project specifications.
• Follow up on open estimates and maintain a high estimate-to-sale conversion rate.
• Build trust and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
• Coordinate with dispatch, permitting, purchasing, and operations teams to ensure project readiness.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and sales activities within company systems.
• Represent Reliable Electrical Services professionally and uphold the company's commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English.
• Basic to intermediate residential electrical knowledge and hands-on experience.
• Strong communication, sales, and customer service skills.
• Ability to explain technical information in a clear and professional manner.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for traveling to customer appointments.
• Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and basic technology for documentation and communication.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.

Preferred:

• Previous residential electrical sales experience.
• Experience in the electrical, HVAC, generator, or home services industry.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Service Titan, or similar systems.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and permitting processes.
• Proven track record of achieving sales goals and closing business.
