Autoclave & Medical Waste Processing Technician

Clean Harbors, in Santa Ana, CA, is currently hiring for entry-level Facility Technicians to join our team! This position is responsible for performing a variety of labor, material handling, waste processing, and facility support duties in a fast-paced industrial environment.
The successful candidate will work with both hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams while maintaining compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures. Work Schedule: 1st Shift (4:00 AM - 12:30 PM) Overtime opportunities may be available based on business needs; however, overtime is not guaranteed. Hourly Wage: $25.00/HR starting pay * Pay increased to $27.00/HR after 6 months of employment * 1st shift - (4 AM - 12:30 PM) * After 6 months, Pay will be raised to $27.00 an hour Working Environment: * This position is based at a medical waste treatment facility.
Employees will work in an industrial environment where medical waste is received, processed, and handled in accordance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations. * Due to the nature of the work, the facility can be odorous, and employees should be comfortable working in this environment. * To work in designated processing areas, employees are required to receive the Hepatitis B vaccination as part of the onboarding process.
