Job Summary

The Technical Implementation Analyst supports the technical execution of API-based digital solution implementations with external customers and integration partners. The role converts customer and solution requirements into executable configuration, testing, validation, and production-readiness activities; coordinates resolution of technical implementation issues; and supports go-live stabilization and transition to ongoing support.

Working within the Solution Delivery function, the analyst partners with Product Management, API and engineering teams, implementation partners, customer technical teams, and operational support functions. The role owns technical implementation of execution and readiness for assigned engagements. Overall implementation of orchestration, cross-functional accountability, adoption, and customer outcome ownership remain with the designated Solution Delivery lead unless otherwise defined.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Implementation & Readiness

  • Gather and document customer technical requirements, workflows, integration dependencies, and acceptance criteria.
  • Translate requirements into implementation plans, milestones, deliverables, and readiness checkpoints.
  • Manage multiple implementation engagements while identifying and mitigating risks impacting timelines and production activation.
  • Support go-live readiness reviews and provide technical validation evidence.

API Integration & Testing

  • Guide customers through API configuration, connectivity, and validation activities, including FHIR and SMART on FHIR integrations.
  • Develop and execute technical test plans, coordinate defect resolution, and validate implementation outcomes.
  • Verify customer implementations against technical specifications, security requirements, and production-readiness criteria.
  • Document testing outcomes, issues, decisions, and readiness status.

Technical Troubleshooting & Go-Live Support

  • Analyze and troubleshoot API connectivity, authentication, configuration, and data exchange issues.
  • Coordinate issue resolution with Engineering, Product Management, Security, and customer technical teams.
  • Support production activation, post-go-live validation, and stabilization activities.
  • Escalate technical blockers and readiness risks proactively.

Documentation & Process Excellence

  • Maintain implementation of artifacts, requirements, testing documentation, risk logs, and readiness evidence.
  • Create and improve implementation of playbooks, checklists, testing standards, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Support structured handoff activities following production deployment.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the technical implementation point of contact for assigned customer engagements.
  • Communicate technical requirements, risks, and status updates to both technical and business stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to resolve implementation challenges and clarify solution capabilities.

Skill Requirements

  • 5 7 years of experience supporting API, systems integration, or digital solution implementations.
  • Strong experience gathering technical requirements and translating them into implementation and testing activities.
  • Hands-on experience with integration testing, issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer implementations and competing priorities.
  • Strong customer-facing communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Other Requirements

  • Experience with healthcare interoperability, digital health solutions, laboratory systems, or EHR integrations.
  • Familiarity with FHIR APIs and SMART on FHIR implementations.
  • Experience working within Product, Engineering, Implementation, or Solution Delivery organizations.
  • Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods, authentication/authorization mechanisms, Jira, Confluence, and API testing tools.
  • Understanding healthcare privacy, security, PHI handling, workflow analysis, and business process mapping.
