Job description
We are looking for a skilled candidate to manage, automate, and optimize key application build and deployment pipelines!
Location: Lansing, MI
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (On-site required on Monday & Tuesday; non-negotiable)
Interview Process: 1-Round Virtual MS Teams Video Interview (Laptop with screen sharing capability required)
Key Position Responsibilities
- Automate, design, and script end-to-end CI/CD build pipelines to optimize release performance.
- Enforce source code control, software baselining, versioning, and environment deployment standards.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on deployment failures and implement long-term preventative fixes.
Top Required & Preferred Skills
- Build & Release Automation: 10+ years managing higher-environment build pipelines, baselining, and software versioning.
- DevOps & CI/CD Tools: Azure DevOps (ADO), Jenkins, Bamboo, Git, Bitbucket, ClearCase, ClearQuest.
- Scripting Languages: Python, Shell, Perl, Ant.
- Tracking & Management: Jira, ADO Boards.
- Preferred Experience: Enterprise public sector or large-scale complex state application systems.
