Project Accountant
Required Skills & Experience - 5+ years of construction/project accounting experience
- Experience working for a General Contractor (GC)
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience using Skyline construction accounting software
- Experience supporting multiple construction projects simultaneously
- Experience with: Owner billings Schedule of Values (SOVs) Change orders Subcontractor invoicing Lien waivers and compliance tracking
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Textura
- Experience working for mid-sized to large General Contractors
- Exposure to project start-up and close-out processes
- Experience tracking subcontractor insurance and licensing compliance
Nice to Have Skills & Experience - Experience with Timberline/Sage 300 CRE
Job Description Insight Global is looking for a Project Accountant to support multiple construction projects and partner closely with Project Managers on accounting, billing, subcontractor compliance, and project reporting. This person should come from a General Contractor environment and be comfortable managing several active projects at once.
