Job Role: SQL Server Data Engineer - Hybrid
Location: Dallas, TX
Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Description:
Design SQL Server transactional data systems and real-time or near-real-time pipelines. Build API-driven data flows, optimize schemas and stored procedures, preserve transactional integrity, troubleshoot concurrency issues, and support Azure-based data services and occasional integrations.

Important Skills to Cover:
1.SQL Server / OLTP:
Relational design, normalization, indexing, stored procedures and high-concurrency transactional workloads.
2.Transactions and Tuning:
ACID, isolation levels, locking, deadlocks, query latency, and contention troubleshooting.
3.REST API Data Flows:
API-based reads/writes, request validation, error handling, retries, rate limiting and idempotency.
4.Azure Services:
Azure SQL Database, Azure API Management and Azure Blob Storage.
5.Integration and Design:
SSIS or similar integration tools; ETL for migration/batch synchronization; concurrency, caching, and service scalability.

Preferred Skills:
The JD emphasizes operational systems and collaboration with backend/application engineers.
