SPS Tax Apportionment - Data Engineer

Job Summary (List Format):

- Play a key role in designing and developing a modern Cloud Data and Analytics platform to support Equity Compensation products for global markets.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and business SMEs to build and release intuitive data solutions.
- Develop complex data transformations and business logic using PL/SQL (procedures, packages) on the Oracle platform.
- Utilize Oracle-related data replication technologies such as Golden Gate.
- Implement and maintain ETL/data integration processes using tools such as Informatica.
- Build and model semantic layers, facts, and dimensions, and create high-visibility reports using OBIEE.
- Use Python and Unix scripting for automation, testing, and deployment support.
- Perform performance tuning on large datasets and complex database code for optimal performance.
- Apply strong knowledge of data warehousing patterns and dimensional modeling techniques using Oracle.
- Create scalable data integration solutions in both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
- Use batch scheduling tools (e.g., Control-M, Autosys) for workflow automation.
- Utilize business intelligence and analytics tools (OBIEE/OAS) for reporting and data analysis.
- Manage source code and collaborate using GitHub and GenAI tools like GitHub Co-Pilot.
- Work within an Agile project environment.
- Required: Bachelor's Degree in a technology-related field and 10+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and analytics technologies.
