Technical Learning & Delivery Consultant II

Location: Chicago, IL or Lake Mary, FL Hybrid
Schedule: Onsite every Tuesday
Time Zone: Central or Eastern preferred
Contract: Contract with potential extension or conversion to full-time

Position Overview

We are seeking a Technical Learning & Delivery Consultant II to support technology learning, communications, and employee development initiatives. This role will partner with technology leaders and teams to assess learning needs, develop technical training programs, and promote a continuous learning culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver technical learning programs, curricula, workshops, and job aids.
• Conduct learning needs and skills-gap assessments and develop appropriate training solutions.
• Create technical communications, user guides, knowledge articles, and training materials.
• Partner with technology leaders and business stakeholders to support learning and development initiatives.
• Lead initiatives such as Lunch & Learns, learning summits, and digital learning programs.
• Measure training effectiveness and continuously improve learning content and delivery.
• Manage and maintain technical training resources and learning materials.
• Support technology communications, process documentation, and end-user engagement.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in technical learning, instructional design, communications, or learning & development.
• Strong knowledge of learning design, curriculum development, adult learning, and blended learning.
• Experience creating technical training materials, presentations, job aids, and online learning content.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Strong project management, organization, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and AI tools such as Microsoft 365 Copilot.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams, leadership, and business stakeholders.

Preferred: Insurance industry experience and experience supporting technology organizations.
