Maintenance Technician / Painter
Location: Fresno, CA
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Type: Contract-to-Hire
Hourly Rate: $22
Position Overview
Apartment Management company is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Technician/Painter to join their maintenance team immediately. This individual will assist with a variety of facility maintenance and groundskeeping tasks, including painting, basic repairs, and general upkeep of the property. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential for the right candidate.
Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior painting projects as assigned
• Assist with basic maintenance repairs, including fixing toilets and other minor plumbing issues
• Support general building maintenance and repairs
• Perform groundskeeping duties, including cleaning and property upkeep
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Work collaboratively with the maintenance team to complete projects in a timely manner
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications

• Previous maintenance, painting, handyman, or groundskeeping experience preferred
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools safely
• Strong work ethic and willingness to assist with a variety of tasks
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license required
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed
• Dependable attendance and punctuality are essential

Employment Details

• Contract-to-hire position
• Three-month probationary period
• Casual dress code: jeans and t-shirt permitted
• Painting attire will be provided
• Company uniform provided after successful completion of the probation period
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
