Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Full Stack React/Java Engineer on behalf of our client in Worcester, MA. The ideal candidate will design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain high-quality software solutions supporting enterprise applications across multiple lines of business.

This role will focus primarily on React.js development with Java/Spring Boot backend development and will contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through deployment and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Build reliable full-stack applications using React.js and Spring Boot.

• Develop new applications, prototypes, and proof-of-concept solutions.

• Translate business requirements into scalable, high-performing technical solutions.

• Participate in application design, coding, unit testing, deployment, and monitoring.

• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA engineers, product owners, developers, and stakeholders.

• Ensure code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and development best practices.

• Optimize application performance, security, reliability, and stability.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and process improvements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional software development experience.

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.

• Strong/expert-level experience with React.js.

• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot.

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Experience with application monitoring, observability, and performance management.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work onsite in Worcester, MA 1 2 days per week.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Kubernetes and Docker.

• Experience with GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and deployments.

• Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Knowledge of UX/UI concepts and front-end development best practices.

• Experience with P&C insurance concepts, business processes, or related enterprise applications.
