Picture your workday starting at 2:30 PM. You review job travelers, check tool offsets, and bring a bank of automatic lathes online. Throughout the shift, you load bar stock, watch tool wear, and verify dimensions with micrometers and calipers—producing precision parts safely, consistently, and on schedule. After training, you’ll confidently monitor multiple machines to hit production goals.

What You’ll Do

• Run automatic lathe equipment to machine precision components
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other QC instruments
• Track machine performance, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when needed
• Stage materials, load/unload parts, and document results
• Maintain throughput by operating several machines once trained
• Follow safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures
• Keep your cell organized, clean, and free of hazards

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior machining experience preferred
• Skill with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Strong mechanical aptitude and sharp attention to detail
• Ability to follow written work instructions and quality specs
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Comfort standing, sitting, reaching, bending, and using hands for the full shift
• Commitment to safety practices and quality standards

Schedule & Pay

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM–11:00 PM
• $19.15 per hour

• CNC Lathe (2–4 axis)
• CNC Swiss Lathe
• CNC Lathe (5+ axis)
• Calipers and Micrometers
