Job Description

• Design and develop software systems using C++17 for autonomous vehicle ride states, passenger interactions, and vehicle control interfaces.

• Develop backend cloud features supporting vehicle experience functionality.

• Integrate software components processing data from vehicle sensors and systems.

• Implement error handling, fail-safe mechanisms, and automotive-grade safety practices.

• Optimize software performance on Linux systems using telemetry and performance data.

• Participate in technical design reviews, coding standards, code reviews, and mentoring.

• Collaborate with vehicle software, cloud, product, UX, QA, and feature integration teams.

• Develop automated tests and support software validation.

Required Qualifications

• BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

• 3+ years of software development experience.

• Strong modern C++ development experience on Linux.

• Experience with backend cloud systems.

• Git, CI/CD, code reviews, automated testing, and validation.

• Strong system-level debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to translate product/UX requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred

• Robotics, automotive, embedded systems, or autonomous vehicle experience.

• Real-time systems and hardware interfaces.

• Production experience with DDS middleware.

• Java, Kotlin, or Python experience.

• Distributed systems experience.
