Job Summary

• Experienced Python Backend Developer with strong hands-on expertise in developing scalable and high-performance backend applications using Python, FastAPI, Django, and Flask.
• Skilled in designing, developing, and consuming RESTful Web APIs, implementing cloud-native solutions, and deploying applications on AWS, including ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, STS, and SSM Parameter Store.
• Proficient in Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and GitHub Actions for automated build, testing, and deployment processes.
• Strong experience developing automated unit and integration tests using pytest and applying software engineering best practices for reliable production systems.
• Comfortable leveraging AI coding assistants such as Claude for accelerated development, code review, debugging, refactoring, and developer productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build backend services that connect to multiple data sources and APIs
• Investigate and resolve production issues by analyzing logs and tracing bugs to root cause before making changes
• Write automated tests and fix data-accuracy issues, especially when matching records across systems
• Manage code through Git/CI/CD workflows and coordinate with other teams on shared systems and release timing

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with Python for backend development
• Experience building and consuming Web APIs (Fast API, Django, or Flask)
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (ECS/Fargate, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM, STS, SSM Parameter Store)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions) and Docker
• Experience writing automated tests (py test)
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants (Claude) to speed up development, review, and debugging
