## Responsibilities

• Perform welding and fabrication tasks on structural steel components according to D1.1 standards.

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to execute projects accurately.

• Set up and operate welding equipment, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding machines.

• Inspect and assess welds for quality and compliance with safety standards.

• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

• Assist in training and mentoring junior welders and fabricators as needed.

  Qualifications

• Current D1.1 certification is required.

• Proven experience as a structural welder/fabricator, preferably in a manufacturing or construction setting.

• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, materials, and safety practices.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.

• Physical stamina and strength to perform welding tasks and lift heavy materials.

You should be proficient in:

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification (OSHA 10)
• Welding Setups for Production
• Blueprint Reading
