Trak group is partnering with a global manufacturing client seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Applications Manager to lead application support, user adoption, and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations in the United States and Mexico. This highly visible, hands-on leadership role will serve as the primary Oracle Fusion resource for approximately 300 users across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other business functions.
The ideal candidate brings deep Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP expertise, strong functional knowledge, and a passion for improving business processes. This position will oversee an offshore managed service provider (MSP), build a network of key users, and lead the transition of selected support responsibilities to a new internal team of Business Analysts.
Responsibilities
Oracle Fusion Support & User Adoption

Serve as the primary on-site resource for Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP across manufacturing locations in Ohio and Mexico.

Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support for Oracle Fusion applications, configurations, transactions, and processes.

Drive adoption of standardized Oracle Fusion processes while reducing manual workarounds and spreadsheet dependency.

Work directly with manufacturing floor personnel, office users, supervisors, and leadership to identify system challenges.

Investigate system issues, determine root causes, and implement effective solutions.

Translate business needs into system improvements, process changes, and training opportunities.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with users and business leadership.
Key User Development & Training
-
Build and lead a key user/super user network supporting approximately 300 Oracle Fusion users.

Identify and develop key users across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and other departments.

Create training materials, process documentation, and job aids in English and Spanish as needed.

Deliver training for new hires, role changes, system enhancements, and new functionality.

Empower key users to provide first-level troubleshooting and ongoing training.
MSP & Vendor Management
-
Manage the day-to-day relationship with an offshore managed service provider based in India.
-
Monitor vendor performance against established service-level agreements (SLAs).
-
Oversee ticket prioritization, issue escalation, backlog management, and resolution timelines.

Translate business requirements into clear support tickets, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.

Validate system fixes and enhancements before closing requests.
-
Conduct regular service reviews to evaluate recurring issues, ticket aging, and overall support performance.

Coordinate with Oracle and other application vendors regarding service requests and system updates.
Team Leadership & Support Transition

Lead the transition of selected Oracle Fusion support responsibilities from the MSP to an internal team.

Hire, onboard, coach, and manage two Business Analysts supporting Finance and Supply Chain.

Establish support ownership, documentation, workflows, and knowledge-transfer processes.
-
Develop internal technical and functional capabilities to reduce dependency on external support.

Provide ongoing guidance, mentoring, and performance management.
Application Management & Continuous Improvement
-
Own Oracle Fusion incident management, problem resolution, and change-control processes.
-
Coordinate configuration changes, enhancements, and Oracle quarterly cloud updates.
-
Lead impact assessments, testing, user acceptance, and business sign-off activities.
-
Manage Oracle Fusion security roles, user provisioning, and periodic access reviews.
-
Maintain SOX/ITGC compliance and segregation-of-duties controls.
-
Partner with IT and business leadership to develop the Oracle Fusion application roadmap.

Identify opportunities to improve system functionality, business processes, and operational efficiency.
-
Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, and process flows.
Must-Haves
-
7+ years of Oracle ERP experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud (SaaS) experience.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Broad functional knowledge of the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP platform.

Deep functional expertise in at least one Oracle Fusion module area.

Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials, including areas such as:

General Ledger (GL)

Accounts Receivable (AR)

Understanding of Oracle Fusion Supply Chain Management (SCM) and manufacturing processes, including integration with Finance.

Hands-on experience troubleshooting Oracle Fusion application issues, configurations, data, and transactions.

Experience managing an offshore MSP or application support vendor against SLAs.

Experience with incident management, problem resolution, and root-cause analysis.

Experience managing Oracle quarterly updates, change control, and system testing.

Knowledge of Oracle Fusion security roles, user access management, and provisioning.

Strong understanding of ERP business processes and standardized system workflows.

Experience developing user training, documentation, and support processes.
-
Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.

Ability to work effectively with manufacturing personnel, business leadership, IT teams, and external vendors.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.

Ability to work on-site in Fairfield, Ohio, or Agua Prieta, Mexico, at least three days per week, with regular time at the other location.
Preferred

Oracle Fusion Financials expertise.

Working proficiency in Spanish.

Experience supporting multi-site manufacturing operations, particularly within the United States and Mexico.

Familiarity with maquiladora manufacturing operations.

Experience supporting SOX, ITGC, audit requirements, and segregation-of-duties reviews.

Experience building and leading an ERP key user or super user network.

Experience hiring, managing, or mentoring Business Analysts.

Experience transitioning ERP support responsibilities from an external vendor to an internal team.

Work Environment

Location: Fairfield, OH, or Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico.

Schedule: On-site at least 3 days per week, with regular travel between locations.

Environment: Combination of office and manufacturing floor settings.

Additional Requirements: Some overlap with India business hours for MSP coordination and occasional after-hours support during month-end close, quarterly updates, or critical system issues.
