Job description

Job Description:

  • Design, develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting and analytics requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Develop and maintain data models, including performing data transformations and optimizing queries for performance
  • Connect and integrate Power BI with SQL databases, Excel files, and cloud-based data services
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and appropriate access controls across reports and dashboards
  • Monitor and optimize report performance, usability, and reliability
  • Leverage AI tools such as ChatGPT to accelerate Power BI development, including complex DAX expressions, data models, and reporting solutions
  • Provide documentation, guidance, and training to end users to promote effective use of business intelligence tools
  • Continuously enhance reporting solutions based on user feedback and evolving business needs
  • Support broader analytics initiatives by helping establish best practices for data visualization, reporting, and data governance

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience developing business intelligence or analytics solutions using Power BI or similar BI tools
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related field
  • Strong experience with Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling
  • Strong experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT to enhance productivity and efficiency in Power BI development
  • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated solutions and validate their accuracy, performance, and adherence to Power BI development best practices
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases
  • Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data pipelines, and ETL processes
  • Ability to analyze complex datasets and present insights in a clear and meaningful way
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with careful attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
