Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts | Evening (15:00–03:30) | Every Other Weekend | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Float within the hospital to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
- Expected to work 2 of 3 major upcoming holidays during the contract period
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid California Registered Nurse (RN) license — required at time of submission
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
- No on-call requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Two supervisor references preferred
- Experience floating across multiple units within a hospital setting
