Job description

Salary: $90,000 - 105,000 per year

Requirements:

  • We are looking for a proven Data Analyst or Senior Data Analyst with a strong track record of delivering analytics initiatives across multiple tools.
  • We need 8–10 years of experience in data analysis, stakeholder interaction, requirements gathering, and understanding systems, data flows, and master data.
  • We expect experience identifying and documenting gaps between current and future-state data and reporting environments.
  • We expect experience documenting attribute identification across different data domains.
  • We are seeking someone with strong logical reasoning who can approach problems from first principles.
  • We require expertise in SQL query management and database design within Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle environments.
  • We value proficiency in R and Python for statistical analysis and automation.
  • We are looking for hands-on ETL experience with Talend or similar platforms; Bash or Unix shell scripting is a plus.
  • We require solid knowledge of business intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Looker, along with dashboard and reporting development experience.
  • We need a strong understanding of SDLC analysis and agile project management practices.
  • We are looking for excellent analytical ability to turn complex datasets into clear insights for varied audiences.
  • We value familiarity with linked data concepts and techniques for integrating diverse data sources.
  • We require experience with database design principles and data model development for scalable analytics solutions.
  • We need strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams on requirements and delivery.
  • Remote work is expected, with possible travel as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • We will have you build and maintain dashboards and reports in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, and other reporting platforms to highlight key metrics and trends.
  • We will rely on you to design and implement scalable ETL workflows that integrate data accurately from varied sources including SQL databases, Oracle, Talend, and Bash scripts.
  • You will partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements, assess needs, and convert them into effective data models and analytical solutions.
  • You will perform deep-dive data analysis using R, Python, Excel-based techniques, and other analytics tools to uncover insights that guide strategic decisions.
  • You will manage SQL queries and database structures in Microsoft SQL Server and SQL environments to improve performance and data retrieval efficiency.
  • You will support the software development lifecycle by analyzing needs, designing solutions, testing changes, and helping ensure smooth deployment of analytics work.
  • You will use business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, and Looker to create dashboards for real-time KPI monitoring.
  • You will participate in requirements analysis for new work and enhancements while applying agile methods to support timely delivery.
  • You will maintain documentation in Visio or similar tools for process flows, data models, and system architecture diagrams.
  • You will keep up with new developments in analytics tooling, linked data integration, and industry best practices to strengthen our analytical capabilities.
