Job Title: Data Analyst
Location: Buffalo, NY Hybrid / Onsite
Employment Type: W2 Contract
Work Authorization: GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD, U.S. Citizen

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team in NY. The ideal candidate will work with cross-functional teams to collect, analyze, and interpret data, identify trends and patterns, develop reports and dashboards, and provide actionable insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, clean, transform, and validate data from multiple sources
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, relationships, and anomalies
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
  • Use tools such as SQL, Excel, Power BI, and Tableau for data analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to understand requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions
  • Provide meaningful insights and recommendations to support business and strategic decisions
  • Monitor data quality, accuracy, consistency, and integrity
  • Document data processes, analysis methodologies, and reporting requirements
  • Support ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests from stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
  • 0 3 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or a related field
  • Basic to strong knowledge of SQL and Excel
  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or other data visualization tools
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
