Certified Nursing Assistant

Certified Nursing Assistant role provides compassionate, patient-centered care in a 13-week assignment located near Columbia, Missouri. The position supports residents with daily activities, monitors health status, and maintains detailed documentation. Candidates must hold a valid MO CNA certification and have at least one year of CNA experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding, providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to monitor residents' health status and promptly report any changes or concerns.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of care provided and resident responses.
• Execute infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for residents and staff.
• Support residents' emotional well-being by offering companionship and engaging in social activities.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid MO CNA certification
• CPR certification
• First Aid certification
• Minimum 1 year CNA experience
• Experience working with vulnerable populations
• Ability to work flexible shift times, including evenings and nights
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Physical stamina for caregiving duties

Preferred Skills:

• LTC experience preferred.
