Job description
Job Summary:
Provides non-invasive, routine clinical support services under the supervision of a licensed physician or healthcare provider, ensuring smooth patient flow and accurate technical procedures.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and set up exam rooms, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.
Check in patients and maintain a patient recall system for labs, referrals, and transfers.
Obtain and record vital signs accurately and report significant findings to the physician.
Perform venipunctures and other specimen collection procedures as ordered.
Conduct audiometry and vision tests to assist in patient assessments.
Perform additional clinical duties as assigned to support clinic operations.
Qualifications:
Hold a current Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) credential.
Possess Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
Demonstrate successful completion of audiometry and vision testing or possess a CHDP certificate within six months of hire.
Have at least two years of recent experience in a clinical setting.
Maintain a current nursing license with the state of employment.
Preferably hold a phlebotomy certification.
