Global Risk Analytics Position
In this role you will support data and technology requests, complex reporting, and risk-focused modeling to help minimize credit and operating losses. You will work with Risk and business partners to identify and manage risk, analyze portfolio and loss trends, and develop data solutions for internal and external reporting. You'll collaborate with technology teams to implement data needs and drive data quality, governance, and controls. Responsibilities
- Support development and execution of risk reporting to enable risk identification and management
- Analyze portfolio and loss trends; assist data design and alignment with business strategies
- Provide analytical support for product strategic initiatives affecting risk functions and lines of business
- Contribute to database production processes and performance reporting using data mining and analytics
- Assist with complex ad-hoc information requests for internal and external stakeholders
- Support cross-functional remediation of data quality issues and monitor control outputs
- Collaborate with technology teams to ensure data initiatives meet ongoing requirements
- Document data processes, data models, data quality controls, data lineage, and data dictionaries
- Gather requirements from data stewards, owners, SMEs, and end users to define current and target state
- Review technical designs from a business perspective and propose alternatives
Key requirements
- Bachelor or Master in computer science, system analysis, Information Systems or related field
- 1-3+ years of experience with Data Sourcing, Data Wrangling, Data Engineering or similar role
- Strong process/systems analysis, design and documentation
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to monitor tight deadlines and adapt to changes
- Understanding of Risk Management and Data Management Principles
- Experience in Product Management and Project Management
- Create concise project plans; Delivery Management; JIRA advanced user
- SQL skills; Technical skills (Python) a plus
- Data Quality/Profiling and Data Lineage awareness
- Business Analytics; Tableau and BI tools experience
- Finance/Risk Domain Experience; Stakeholder management and Communication Skills
