Job Title: Senior Security Engineer
Location: Cincinnati, OH

Job Summary: We are representing an opportunity for a senior-level security professional to support vulnerability and exposure management across a complex enterprise environment. Our team is looking for someone who can help technology teams assess risk, prioritize findings, and move remediation efforts forward with clear guidance and strong coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Support the full vulnerability management lifecycle, from identification and assessment through remediation guidance and tracking.
• Analyze security findings and help technology teams understand vulnerability impact, risk, and remediation priorities.
• Develop clear remediation guidance and recommend compensating controls when vulnerabilities cannot be fully remediated.
• Partner with application owners and infrastructure teams to coordinate vulnerability remediation and maintain supporting documentation.

Required:

• Experience working for a large retail company
• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity with strong experience in vulnerability management.
• Experience with Tenable vulnerability scanning products including Tenable Security Center.
• Strong understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle and risk-based approaches to vulnerability prioritization and remediation.
• Experience analyzing security vulnerabilities and developing actionable remediation guidance.
• Working knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Strong written communication, documentation, and organizational skills; ability to communicate complex security findings clearly to technical partners and application owners.
