BSP Development Engineer (Remote)

Salary: $73,150 - 174,000 per year
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency
- At least 6 years of relevant experience
- Experience developing embedded graphics with OpenGL; Epic DEOS experience is preferred
- Strong understanding of multicore processor concepts and system-level behavior
- Knowledge of processor and memory architectures, including memory controllers, cache hierarchies, main memory, and shared memory access across CPU cores and GPUs
- Experience with GPU drivers, device driver development, Linux, and Arm-based controllers
- Familiarity with shared-resource monitoring and analysis, performance counters, QoS mechanisms, and WCET computation
- Knowledge of I/O subsystems, GPUs, SSDs, and FPGAs and how they may interfere with WCET analysis
- Experience with DEOS or similar real-time operating systems, cache partitioning, and resource isolation is highly desirable
- Familiarity with FAA AC 20-193 guidance on multicore processor certification is an advantage
Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize embedded graphics solutions on multicore platforms using technologies such as OpenGL and DEOS
- Analyze shared-resource utilization and system performance across CPUs, GPUs, and other hardware components
- Perform WCET analysis that accounts for resource contention and interference from I/O subsystems, GPUs, SSDs, FPGAs, and other shared resources
- Help ensure deterministic real-time system performance
