Overview
Assistant Behavior Analysts provide clinical direction to behavior technicians and oversee the delivery of treatment for a client caseload under the supervision of a Behavior Analyst. They are driven to provide clinical excellent services to their clients, while promoting the clinical and professional development of the technicians assigned to their teams. Assistant Behavior Analysts are driven to expand their knowledge about the field of ABA through formal and informal learning opportunities. They partner with parents, their colleagues and other providers to deliver socially significant clinical outcomes for their clients.
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who:
Bachelor's degree
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BaCBA) and/or license as required by local statutes to deliver behavior analysis
Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work
Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
Communicating effectively in writing as appropriate for the needs of the audience
Speaking to others to convey information effectively
Giving full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
Monitoring/Assessing performance of yourself, other individuals, or organizations to make improvements or take corrective action
Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making
Actively looking for ways to help people

What You'll Have
Bachelor's Degree
Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BaCBA) and/or license as required by local statutes to deliver behavior analysis
Must be able to walk, stand, and sit throughout the workday (up to 50% or more as required)
Must be able to quickly and independently change positions, including bending, kneeling, squatting, stooping, crouching, crawling, reaching, balancing, and sitting on the floor
Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to occasionally run or move quickly and maintain continuous visual supervision and auditory awareness of clients to ensure safety
May be required to exert physical control of clients in accordance with ABA guidelines
Must be able to react quickly to client movement and changes in the environment
Must be able to concentrate on tasks for sustained periods
Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with clients, families, and team members
Must be able to work in loud, unpredictable high-stimulation environments for extended periods, including settings with frequent noise, movement, and stimulating lighting
Must be able to independently support client hygiene needs, including diapering and toileting, as required
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver protocol modification, assessment services, and family treatment guidance to assigned clients according to LEARN clinical standards
Provide clinical direction to technicians
Employ clinical best practices and use data to drive clinical programming
Document services delivered accurately and timely according to company policies
Complete mandatory trainings and attend required meetings
Report clinical and scheduling concerns promptly
Deliver clinical and professional feedback to staff
Provide treatment by protocol when needed
Adhere to all company compliance policies, written or unwritten
Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisor
This role may supervise one or more individual contributors
