Job description

Job Description:

  • Report to the Senior Manager, Regulatory
  • Support development and execution of regulatory strategy for product compliance across US and international markets
  • Collect, review, and maintain regulatory documentation, including testing reports, ingredient documents, raw material documents, product specifications, SDS, and certifications
  • Maintain Product Information Files (PIFs)
  • Support review of claims and product substantiation guidelines
  • Monitor international regulatory legislation, guidelines, and certification processes
  • Support cross-functional teams with documents, regulatory guardrails, and internal processes
  • Assist with Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) registrations, assessments, and reporting
  • Maintain regulatory archives, product information, and registration databases
  • Help develop and maintain regulatory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Assist with regulatory questions from internal and external partners
  • Help ensure products meet regulatory requirements for current and future markets, including labeling considerations
  • Serve as a regulatory resource throughout the product lifecycle and translate technical requirements into clear guidance
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Biochemistry, Cosmetic Science, Regulatory Affairs, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in regulatory affairs, preferably within the cosmetics, personal care, beauty, or consumer products industry
  • Hands-on experience supporting global regulatory compliance documentation, including MoCRA, EU (EC1223/2009), and related state and international cosmetics regulations is preferred
  • Strong documentation skills and experience organizing and maintaining regulatory files and records
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Technical curiosity and process-driven mentality
  • Collaborative, resourceful, and adaptable to an evolving atmosphere
