Scale House Operator

Summary of Position:

• We are looking for a Scale House Operator to join our AggreCore Materials team.
• As a Scale House Operator, you will weigh trucks, verify purchase orders, answer phone inquiries, and provide customer service.
• You will work closely with the field and office teams, drivers, vendors, and clients.

About the Role Responsibilities:

• Weigh trucks, issue tickets, manage traffic flow, and support efficient dispatching.
• Complete administrative tasks such as verifying purchase orders, overweight permits, and complete daily paperwork.
• Greet visitors, answer calls, and maintain office and plant inventory.
• Physical Requirements The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.

The position may require:

• Prolonged standing and walking throughout quarry operations.
• Walking on uneven, rocky, muddy, or unstable surfaces.
• Bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and crouching.
• Wearing required PPE for extended periods.
• Working around moving machinery, heavy equipment, and commercial vehicles.

Required Key Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED Good organizational and math skills Good verbal and written communications skills.
• Able to use scanners and printers.
