Sterile Processing Tech
Hard Stop: Must have 2+ years. Must have travel! Minimum experience: 2 years; 1st timers not accepted.
Patient Population: None specified.
Certifications Required: CBSPD or IAHCSMM/HSPA Required.
General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Patient diagnoses include open heart, PV, robotics, endoscopy, general surgery, orthopedics including total joints/trauma and hand/foot/ankle, plastics, neuro, oral surgery, ENT, gyn; required equipment includes Getinge steam sterilizers, Sterrad plasma sterilizer, biological incubators, washer/decontaminator, ultrasonic and washer air gun. Ratio/census: 17 rooms with average surgical volume of 50 and daily tray volume of 450. Unit systems: Epic (preferred).
