Accounts Payable Expert

Required Skills & Experience: 5+ years of recent AP experience including a knowledge of AP principles, general sales, and use tax concepts - CANNOT be job hoppy (manager considers 2-3 years at a company job hoppy). They have to have longevity. Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service abilities as they will be talking with vendors and customers. Exceptional work ethic, integrity, and coachability. Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to learn software and workflows quickly. High school diploma or GED.

Job Description: This person is an expert in AP and will mentor other employees. This may include assigning tasks or helping train. They will step in to help out when the supervisor is out. They must understand productivity metrics and assist in bettering department processes to continuously improve the functions. They will be managing ad hoc projects and performing all AP supporting duties. Payment processing, voucher processing, verifying tax information for new vendors, ensure vendor payments are handled in accordance to Motion Industries policies, help with tax reporting, any other AP duties that may be needed, utilizing multiple accounting systems.
