LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Rad - Teleradiology MD in Chicago, Illinois, 60666!

We are seeking board-certified or board-eligible Emergency/Diagnostic Radiologists to join a dynamic healthcare system in Illinois. Flexible Schedule Options & Massive Earning Potential

Tailor your work schedule to fit your lifestyle and financial goals:

  • Swing Shift:
    • Schedule: 14 Days On / 7 Days Off or 7 on 7 off schedule
    • Hours: 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM CST
    • Reads: 11-14 RVUs per hour
  • Overnight Shift:
    • Hours: 11:00 PM - 8:00 AM CST
    • Flexible Rostering: Choose between 7 Days On / 14 Days Off OR 14 Days On / 7 Days Off
    • Earning Potential: The 14/7 schedule offers industry-leading compensation of $1.1M - $1.2M annually.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide fast, accurate, and high-quality emergency radiology interpretations across a wide variety of ER-related scans (MRI Brain, CTA Head & Neck, CTA Chest, etc.).
  • Apply subspecialty expertise to complex cases when applicable.
  • Communicate directly and effectively with referring emergency and inpatient providers to support critical clinical decision-making.
  • Maintain high standards of report quality and turn-around times.

Case Mix & Technology

  • Technology: Dedicated hospital workstation shipped directly to your home featuring Visage PACS.
  • Case Mix:
    • ~40% Computed Tomography (CT)
    • ~40% X-Ray
    • ~9% Ultrasound
    • ~2% Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Board Status: Board Certified (ABR) or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Licensure: Active Illinois medical license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date).
