Plant Business Finance Controller
Schneider Electric has an exciting opportunity for a Plant Business Finance Controller supporting our rapidly growing Virtual Factory Operations. While the role will allow for remote work, candidates located in the following locations are preferred: Costa Mesa, CA; Nashville, TN; Dallas, TX; Westmont, IL; Raleigh, NC; Boston, MA or Monterrey, MX Hub. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence financial performance across a brick-and-mortar manufacturing facility and an innovative outsourced manufacturing model, a Virtual Factory, that is helping shape the future of Schneider Electric's operations strategy. The role will require travel approximately once per quarter to support audits, operational reviews, and business alignment activities.
What You'll Do
- Own the financial performance, reporting, and control environment for the Virtual Factory operations.
- Partner with Commercial, Execution, and GSC leadership to drive profitable growth and operational excellence.
- Manage end-to-end P&L performance, supporting key commercial and operational decisions from "as sold" through execution.
- Lead forecasting, financial planning, and performance reporting activities, including Sales, Orders, Gross Margin, and Support Function Costs.
- Analyze business performance, identify gaps and root causes, and develop actionable improvement plans.
- Drive investment strategies, cost-saving initiatives, and support-function cost optimization.
- Support monthly close, reconciliations, balance sheet reviews, compliance activities, and financial controls.
- Collaborate with Accounting, Legal, Supply Chain, Planning, and Project Controlling teams to improve business outcomes and operational efficiency.
- Provide financial insight to support inventory, capacity planning, and manufacturing execution decisions.
- Present results and recommendations to senior business leaders and serve as a trusted advisor across the organization.
- Support finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Act as a proxy for segment finance leadership when required.

- Establish financial visibility and controls across a rapidly growing Virtual Factory environment.
- Partner with operations and commercial leaders to achieve growth, profitability, and cost commitments.
- Use financial data and analytics to drive operational improvements rather than simply report results.
- Successfully support expansion initiatives while maintaining strong governance, compliance, and performance management.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in Finance, FP&A, Controllership, Financial Analysis, Audit, or Accounting.
- Prior Oracle ERP experience strongly preferred
- Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, supply chain, or industrial environments.
- Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, performance management, and accounting principles.
- Experience with P&L ownership, balance sheet analysis, reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Advanced financial modeling and analytical capabilities.
- Ability to influence decisions through data-driven insights and business partnering.
- Experience working in matrixed multinational organizations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.

This pay range includes base pay and short-term incentives. The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our pay ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the pay range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
