As Director of Machine Learning/Computer Vision, you will lead the development of autonomous systems using advanced CV and ML technologies. You will blend hands-on technical work with people leadership to deliver innovative, field-ready platforms. You will partner with senior leadership to shape technical roadmaps and translate product goals into actionable plans. You will drive real-time CV solutions and collaborate closely with hardware and software teams to ensure robust, end-to-end delivery. This role offers impact at scale in a fast-paced, engineering-led environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of computer vision and ML engineers
• Define and execute technical roadmaps aligned with product and company goals
• Develop and optimize real-time detection, tracking, and classification algorithms
• Coordinate integration milestones with electrical engineering and hardware teams
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality and reliability
• Drive testing and validation across diverse environments
• Collaborate with senior leadership on technical direction
• Ensure delivery of the CV/ML stack and monitor team performance

Key requirements

• 15+ years in ML-based computer vision and signal processing
• Bachelor's degree in CS, EE, or related field; Master's preferred
• Proficiency in Python and C++, with TensorFlow or PyTorch experience
• Experience managing and scaling engineering teams
• Expertise in embedded systems and sensor integration (cameras, LiDAR, RADAR)
• Proven track record deploying CV systems in real-time or safety-critical settings
• Experience with multi-sensor fusion and hardware integration cycles
• Ph.D. in CV or ML is a strong advantage
