The candidate must be proficient in Creo Parametric, FEA, and structural analysis, with experience supporting industrial manufacturing and leading engineering projects.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer / Project Lead
Location: Lafayette, Indiana

Key Responsibilities

• Design lifting fixtures, material handling equipment, and manufacturing tooling.
• Perform FEA, structural calculations, load analysis, and safety factor validation.
• Create and review 3D models, engineering drawings, GD&T, and BOMs.
• Support fixture fabrication, testing, installation, and manufacturing-floor implementation.
• Lead engineering projects, coordinate design engineers, and manage project deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Hands-on lifting fixture, tooling, or material handling equipment design experience.
• Strong proficiency in Creo Parametric and FEA/structural analysis.
• Knowledge of machine design, welded structures, load path analysis, and safety factors.
• Experience with engineering drawings, GD&T, and industrial manufacturing.
• Project leadership and strong communication skills.
