Division Finance Manager

A well-established Greensboro-area organization is seeking an experienced Division Finance Manager for a newly created role supporting a project-driven operating division.

This is not a traditional desk-only accounting position. The person in this role will work closely with senior leadership, operations, administrative teams, and field personnel, gaining exposure to both the financial and operational sides of the business. The position offers strong visibility, increasing responsibility, and long-term growth potential.

What You’ll Do

• Oversee project cost and project financial management
• Lead monthly financial and revenue close activities
• Review invoicing, accounts receivable, pricing, and project financials
• Analyze jobs, customers, project costs, and pricing
• Support pricing analysis, modeling, and strategy
• Partner closely with operations, leadership, and field personnel
• Help improve financial, administrative, invoicing, and operational processes
• Support technology, automation, business systems, and process-improvement initiatives
• Take on additional financial and operational responsibilities as knowledge of the business grows

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 3–5+ years of practical accounting or finance operations experience
• Strong understanding of construction or project-based job costing
• Experience with WIP and percentage-of-completion accounting strongly preferred
• Strong Excel, spreadsheet, and analytical skills
• Ability to analyze job cost, pricing, and project financial information
• Comfortable communicating with senior leadership, customers, and field personnel
• Strong problem-solving skills with the confidence to ask questions and follow issues through to resolution
• Interest in both accounting and business operations
