IT Support Engineer

Salary: $50,000 - 60,000 per year

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 3 years of IT support or systems administration experience.
• Experience supporting Windows operating systems in a business environment and administering Microsoft 365.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune and Entra ID.
• Experience deploying hardware and managing its lifecycle.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Preferred: experience with Microsoft Commercial and GCC High environments; familiarity with CMMC or NIST 800-171 requirements; and experience with endpoint security and device compliance management.
• Microsoft certifications are a plus, including Endpoint Administrator Associate, Modern Desktop Administrator, or Administrator Expert certifications.

Responsibilities:

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support to employees across multiple office locations, resolving issues with Windows devices, Microsoft 365, email and collaboration tools, mobile devices, printers, VPNs, and remote access.
• Respond to help desk requests and incidents, escalate complex issues as needed, and track cases through resolution.
• Deploy, configure, and support Windows workstations, laptops, and mobile devices; administer Intune and other endpoint management tools; and manage enrollment, compliance policies, application deployments, and configuration profiles.
• Support hardware refreshes and device lifecycle initiatives, and maintain accurate corporate IT asset records.
• Administer Entra ID accounts and groups; provision and deprovision users; manage password resets, multifactor authentication enrollment, and access requests; and support hybrid identity and device-join processes.
• Assist with administration of Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Entra ID, and help users adopt Microsoft collaboration tools.
• Implement and maintain endpoint security controls, support BitLocker encryption and device compliance, and assist with vulnerability remediation and cybersecurity projects.
• Follow our security policies and support compliance efforts involving CMMC, NIST 800-171, GCC High environments, and information security best practices.
• Prepare hardware, software, and accounts for new employees; coordinate onboarding with Human Resources and department managers; and deactivate accounts and recover assets when employees leave.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge-base articles; help standardize support processes and identify automation opportunities; and participate in IT projects and technology rollouts.
• Resolve employee issues efficiently and professionally, maintain secure and compliant endpoints, support timely onboarding and offboarding, and contribute to a reliable, secure, and highly available IT environment.
• Reduce recurring support issues through documentation and process improvements.

The position is based onsite in St. Louis, Missouri, within our Information Technology department, with an annual salary range of $50,000–$60,000.
