Express Employment Professionals is seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to inspect, repair, and maintain a fleet of rental pumps. This position is responsible for keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently while minimizing downtime.

Job Duties:

• Inspect and troubleshoot pumps using diagnostic tools

• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues

• Repair or replace seals, bearings, impellers, wiring, and other components

• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines

• Maintain detailed maintenance and repair records

• Assist with preventative maintenance schedules

• Follow all safety procedures and industry standards

Requirements:

• Previous pump repair experience

• Experience with diesel, electric motor-driven, or pneumatic-driven pumps

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics

• Experience with electrical systems preferred, but training may be provided

• Diesel mechanic experience is a plus

• Ability to lift heavy equipment, work in confined spaces, and stand for extended periods
