Senior Division Manager

Lead Operations. Drive Growth. Own Division Performance. We are seeking an experienced Senior Division Manager to lead and oversee our West Texas electrical construction division. This senior-level leadership opportunity is ideal for an experienced electrical construction professional who can manage the entire operation, drive profitability, develop teams, and support long-term business growth.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial and/or industrial electrical construction, along with proven experience managing multiple projects, leading cross-functional teams, overseeing financial performance, and developing customer relationships. This is more than a project management role. We're looking for a leader who can take ownership of the West Texas division, balance operational and financial responsibilities, and position the business for continued success.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations, performance, and overall success of the West Texas division.
  • Lead, develop, and manage project managers, estimators, superintendents, field personnel, and administrative teams.
  • Oversee multiple electrical construction projects from planning and estimating through execution and completion.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, costs, forecasting, profitability, and overall financial performance.
  • Ensure projects are properly staffed, resourced, and supported to meet customer expectations and business objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, general contractors, vendors, subcontractors, and other business partners.
  • Support business development efforts, identify new project opportunities, and contribute to division growth.
  • Review project and operational performance, addressing financial, scheduling, staffing, and execution challenges.
  • Establish departmental goals, operating procedures, performance standards, and accountability measures.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, quality standards, and applicable regulations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning, business development, and long-term operational goals.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, strengthen margins, control costs, and increase overall profitability.

What We're Looking For Required Qualifications

  • Significant experience in electrical contracting and commercial and/or industrial electrical construction.
  • Senior-level management experience overseeing an electrical construction operation, division, or multiple project teams.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple construction projects and competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, forecasting, cost controls, and profitability.
  • Experience leading project managers, estimators, superintendents, and field personnel.
  • Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to manage both the operational and business aspects of an electrical construction division.
  • Demonstrated ability to hold teams accountable, resolve challenges, and deliver results.

Why Join us?

  • Competitive compensation: Approximately $125,000 annually, negotiable based on experience.
  • Senior-level leadership: Take ownership of the West Texas division and influence overall business performance.
  • Business growth: Help expand the division, develop customer relationships, and identify new opportunities.
  • Operational impact: Lead teams, improve processes, and drive project execution and profitability.
  • Strategic involvement: Work directly with executive leadership on division performance and long-term growth.
