Job description

HID is seeking a contractor to understand, optimize, and automate the end-to-end processes supporting technology platform fees and mobile credential transactions across Tech Giants and future ecosystem providers. The role will connect data and processes across Origo, HID's cloud platform providing mobile credential activity data, Oracle, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), and related business systems to improve reporting, reconciliations, controls, scalability, and automation, including revenue and cost of goods sold recognition in line with IFRS and US GAAP. The ideal candidate combines process optimization expertise with practical experience using AI-enabled tools to automate business processes and create sustainable solutions that HID teams can maintain after the engagement ends. The role requires independent execution, extensive cross-functional collaboration, and regular in-office presence for workshops, process discovery, and implementation activities.

Essential Duties

  • Document current-state workflows and design future-state processes for mobile subscriptions, technology platform fees, reporting, reconciliations, refunds, settlements, revenue recognition, and cost of goods sold recognition.
  • Identify process inefficiencies, control gaps, manual activities, data-quality issues, and automation opportunities.
  • Connect and improve data and process flows across HID platforms, Oracle, OAC, provider data, and related business systems.
  • Develop scalable reporting, reconciliation, exception-management, control, and automation solutions.
  • Apply AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis, solution design, documentation, and sustainable workflow automation.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and support implementation, testing, knowledge transfer, and change management.

Primary Duties

  • Process analysis and optimization: Map current-state workflows; identify inefficiencies and control gaps; define requirements; and develop future-state process maps, recommendations, and implementation roadmaps.
  • Platform fee management: Analyze end-to-end processes supporting Tech Giants and future technology platforms, including provider billing, customer transactions, multi-entity activity, intercompany allocations, balance sheet reconciliations, refunds, settlements, revenue recognition, and cost of goods sold recognition.
  • Data, systems, and reporting: Assess data quality, ownership, timing, and system requirements across Origo (HID’s platform), Oracle, OAC, provider data, and reporting sources; partner with IT, Reporting, Finance, and Operations to improve data flow and reporting accuracy.
  • AI-enabled process automation: Evaluate practical AI use cases for data analysis, reporting, reconciliations, exception management, process documentation, and workflow automation; develop maintainable solutions and supporting documentation.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Conduct workshops and interviews; present findings, recommendations, business cases, and roadmaps; and support implementation, testing, documentation, knowledge transfer, and change management.

Essential Qualifications (Non-negotiable Requirements)

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • At least five (5) years of experience in process optimization, automation, consulting, finance operations, or a similar discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in business process improvement, transformation, or process automation.
  • Practical experience using AI-enabled tools to improve business processes and develop sustainable automation solutions.
  • Strong analytical, business analysis, requirements-gathering, process-documentation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
  • Working knowledge of accounting, reconciliations, financial reporting, revenue recognition, cost of goods sold recognition, and transactional processes.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively across functions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Oracle ERP, Oracle Analytics Cloud or similar reporting platforms, process mapping, analytics, and automation tools preferred.
  • Experience with subscription, SaaS, recurring-revenue, or transaction-based business models preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.
