Part-Time Housekeeper – Private Estate Location: La Cañada Flintridge, CA Schedule: Monday and Friday preferred, approximately 6–8 hours per day. Flexible for the right candidate. Open to an established housekeeping team working one day per week. Compensation: $40/hour DOE for an individual housekeeper We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive Part-Time Housekeeper for a beautiful historic private estate in La Cañada Flintridge. The property consists of a 6,000-square-foot main residence, along with a guest house, gym, and pool house, totaling approximately 8,000 square feet. The household consists of two adults with no pets who travel frequently. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working in high-end private homes, take pride in maintaining a beautifully cared-for property, and understand the proper cleaning and maintenance of antiques, delicate furnishings, and specialty surfaces. Responsibilities: Perform detailed housekeeping, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, polishing, and general upkeep throughout the residence and additional structures. Properly care for antique furniture, delicate wood, and specialty surfaces using appropriate cleaning products and techniques. Handle household laundry, folding, and general linen care. Maintain organization throughout the home, including occasional detailed organizing projects. Monitor cleaning supplies and communicate when replenishment is needed. Assist with occasional household tasks such as bringing in packages, helping with groceries, and putting items away. Proactively identify and communicate any maintenance concerns or household issues. Maintain consistent housekeeping standards while the family is traveling. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of professional housekeeping experience in private residences. Experience working in large, high-end homes with delicate furnishings and specialty surfaces. Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Respectful, professional, dependable, and receptive to feedback. Proactive, with a positive, helpful attitude and willingness to assist with household needs. Physically capable of performing housekeeping duties throughout a large property. Excellent references and a history of long-term employment.
