Job Title : Calibration Engineer
Location: Durham, NC
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Schedule: Day Shift, 2-2-3 schedule (every other weekend)
Duration: Contract
Pay: $35-40/hr on W2
Job Summary
Seeking a Calibration Engineer/Technician to support calibration and maintenance activities in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform calibration and verification of temperature, pressure, and process instrumentation.
- Support calibration activities across manufacturing, laboratory, and utility systems.
- Document calibration results and work orders in GMARS/CMMS.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, quality, and documentation requirements.
- Identify and report out-of-tolerance (OOT) conditions.
- Maintain calibration tools, standards, and documentation.
- Coordinate with Maintenance and Operations teams to minimize equipment downtime.
Requirements
- 2+ years of calibration, instrumentation, or maintenance experience.
- Experience in pharma, biotech, GMP, or other regulated manufacturing preferred.
- Knowledge of temperature and pressure instrumentation.
- Experience with CMMS; GMARS preferred.
- Strong understanding of GMP documentation and traceability.
- Ability to work onsite on a 2-2-3 day-shift schedule.
