Job Description:

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Fivetran, dbt, Snowflake, and SQL to build, maintain, and optimize scalable enterprise data pipelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end data pipelines using Fivetran, dbt, and Snowflake.

• Configure and manage Fivetran connectors for databases, SaaS applications, APIs, and files.

• Develop dbt models, macros, incremental models, tests, and documentation.

• Optimize Snowflake SQL queries, data models, and performance.

• Implement data quality checks, monitoring, reconciliation, and alerts.

• Troubleshoot production issues across data ingestion and transformation pipelines.

• Support Git, CI/CD, code reviews, and DEV/QA/PROD deployments.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to onboard data sources and deliver data solutions.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Fivetran, dbt/dbt Cloud, Snowflake, and SQL.

• Expertise in data ingestion, transformation, and modern ELT architecture.

• Experience with Snowflake data modeling, performance tuning, and RBAC.

• Strong SQL skills, including CTEs, window functions, and query optimization.

• Experience with Git, CI/CD, deployment workflows, and production support.

• Minimum 5 years of Data Engineering experience.

• At least 2 years of production experience with Snowflake and dbt.

• Proven experience implementing and supporting Fivetran ingestion pipelines.

Preferred Skills:

• Python scripting and automation.

• Apache Airflow / AWS MWAA and AWS services.

• REST APIs, Salesforce, Marketo, and SFTP integrations.

• Snowpark, Databricks, Terraform, and data observability tools.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Cursor.
