Assurance Manager

Overview:

A well-established, independent CPA firm in South Florida is seeking a Manager-level Assurance professional to join its Miami team. Managers in this role oversee multiple complex engagements at once and supervise sizable teams. The firm is privately owned, with a people-first culture, accessible leadership, and a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a complex portfolio of clients and deliver high-quality assurance services
• Run engagements end to end: proposals, budgets, WIP, timely billing and collections
• Meet team and individual budget and performance goals
• Maintain expert technical standards
• Identify client needs proactively by understanding their business and key risks
• Provide value-added advisory services to clients and spot cross-selling opportunities
• Mentor, train, and develop staff
• Lead by example with a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Pursue leadership roles in professional, business, or community organizations

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of public accounting assurance/audit experience
• CPA required
• Experience supervising teams and leading the full engagement process
• Expert analytical skills
• Ability to train and mentor staff
• Able to manage client relationships independently
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (preferred)
• Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
• Able to work overtime during peak periods
