Title:Software Engineer in Test
Location: Durham NC

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using validated technical skills such as Java, Python, SQL, HTML, and JavaScript.
• Conduct native and cross-platform testing using tools like Appium, Selenium, and Playwright.
• Integrate and manage automated testing within DevOps pipelines, utilizing tools like Jenkins and Docker.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test cases, execute testing, and generate test reports.
• Balance automation efforts with manual testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate actively in Agile sprints, applying best practices in test-driven development and continuous improvement.
• Manage test cases and test data effectively to support ongoing automation and manual testing activities.
• Quickly learn new technical skills and adapt to changing project requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of test automation development experience using Java or a similar language.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a technology-related field such as Computer Science or Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with test automation tools such as Playwright and Selenium.
• Proficiency in source code management and software delivery lifecycle tools like Git and BitBucket.
• Validated technical skills in SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Java, or Python.
• Experience testing native applications or cross-platform applications, preferably using Appium.
• Proven experience in DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins.
• Experience with containerized test execution using Docker.
• Strong understanding of test case management and reporting tools.
• Ability to work independently within Agile teams and familiarity with tools like JIRA.
• Quick learner with the ability to apply new technical concepts rapidly.
